Have you ever felt like you prayed for God to take care of something for you, but you have been unable to leave it for him to do? It's actually more common than we would think. Since the time of Cain and Abel, people have often wondered about their sacrifice. We have been told stories many times of the priest entering the Holy of Holies in the tabernacle with a rope tied around his waste, just in case he didnt make it. Some of us still approach God the same way, with doubt and fears. We think God may not handle our problems because we havent lived well enough, or dont have as much to offer. So we pick our burdens back up and continue to carry them. Jesus said his burden was easy and his yoke was light, so why are we carrying anything? We are told in Hebrews 10 that we are to come boldly to the throne of grace....BOLDLY. We have to remember that Jesus is our sacrifice, and our sacrifice is always accpeted.
